JULY NIGHTCLUB:The Dan Reed Show featuring Bobby Van Rooy – July 17 & 18 –Only one ticket left as of 7/4. To be Wait-Listed, contact Katie Nix at (623-214-8280)  Everyone’s favorite trumpet player, Dan Reed, has invited Bobby Van Rooy, saxophonist and lead singer for the fabulous C C Ryder Express Band, to join him and his bandmates on our Nightclub stage. Live music at its best.

 

AUGUST NIGHTCLUB: The NEW Gail and Sid Show – Saturday, August 22 (One Night Only) – Tickets still available.  A performance to take you back to the storied days of 50’s and 60’s Nightclubs and Broadway shows. Both Gail Leibowitz and Sid Engel are professional entertainers who started their careers on the Borsht Circuit in the Catskills. They’ve put together a brand new show for us. Gail is well-known for both her acting and singing talents; Sid was Danny Thomas’ Music Director for many years and performed with many of the greats both on and off Broadway. Definitely a ‘cool’ way to beat the heat!

 

SEPTEMBER NIGHTCLUB: The Grandtones – September 11 & 12 – Tickets still available – A mixture of Doo Wop and early Rock & Roll hits performed by Ron Paul, Art Bigornia and Marv Myhre and the Rock-It Science Duo Bob Arnold and John Tsotsos. Come join us for an evening that will recapture all the love and emotions that we felt during that legendary magical music era.

 

OCTOBER GRAND CABARET AT SONORAN PLAZA: The J J’s Band – Saturday, October 3 – Tickets go on sale August 1. The Ballroom will rock to the sounds of one of Arizona’s premier Motown and Rock & Roll bands. This is a Vegas-quality concert act for those who like a high-energy, professionally choreographed extravaganza. The music is straight out of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s – standards the Boomers (and those who like Boomer music) will love.Dan Reed will join this 10-piece band as a featured performer. It’s reserved table seating; you may select a table but individual seats are not reserved (a party of 10 may reserve a full table). OCTOBER NIGHTCLUB: Switchback – Celtic Soul-Saturday & Sunday October 23-24-Tickets go on sale August 1. Switchback is an internationally acclaimed group who are known for their versatility and audience-engaging stage presence. Their harmonizing invokes memories of Simon & Garfunkle and the Everly Brothers. Accompanied by a percussionist, lead singers Brian Fitzgerald and Marty McCormack play the mandolin, guitar and bass. This show has been produced with our Nightclub patrons in mind. It will feature our favorite Irish standards. Marty’s rendition of Danny Boy is mesmerizing.

 

NOVEMBER NIGHTCLUB: Roy LeBlanc Live-Tribute Show: Saturday & Sunday, Nov. 6 & 7; Tickets go on sale Sept. 1. There are many Elvis tribute artists but only a few have won as many prestigious awards as Roy. But what truly sets him apart is his unique talent when it comes to channeling other artists like Roy Orbison and Johnny Cash. He looks like them; he sounds like them. What more can we ask? This is a great ladies night out show, but the men will love it too.

 

DECEMBER NIGHTCLUB: Chelsea Faulds and Pianist Marc Beecher. Friday, Dec. 11 only – Tickets go on sale October 1. This one-night performance will be the first time we’ve had a Nightclub show in December. Chelsea is definitely one of the best performers in Arizona. She and Marc will mix it up with some Christmas music as well as the standards we love.
