Well-known Phoenix area trumpeter Dan Reed has played with some of the hottest musicians in the Valley. He adopted as his personal theme ‘Keeping It Fun’ and that no doubt explains why he was a big hit on cruise ships and was Music Director on the original ‘Love Boat’ for 18 years.
A St. Louis native, these days Dan is a popular mainstay of the Phoenix musical scene. He’s especially pleased to be joining the famous Harold’s Cave Creek Corral with his band, Dan Reed’s Dixieland Hotshots, who share his love of traditional jazz.
The Hotshots perform every year at the Arizona Classic Jazz Festival in Chandler, AZ at the Crowne Plaza San Marcos Golf Resort for the Arizona Classic Jazz Society. azclassicjazz.org They are on demand for area wide Mardi Gras events all year long & many other occasions.
